While convening the owners of some of Europe’s most renowned family businesses, the European Forum for Family Businesses addresses pertinent political issues, sets the public agenda, and advocates for well-balanced legislation.

By stimulating a constructive, curated and informal dialogue with the highest-level political decision-makers in Brussels, the Forum follows the objective to strengthen location factors and improve competitive conditions for European family businesses operating on a global scale – to ensure a stable, innovative and prosperous economy on our continent.

In addition to its annual core conference, the Foundation for Family Businesses and Politics regularly convenes prestigious events on legal, tax and political issues of particular relevance to family businesses with headquarters in Europe.

As part of our founding principles, our political engagement is based on scientific facts and figures deriving from studies by Europe’s leading academics and research institutions – commissioned by our sister foundation, the Foundation for Family Businesses.
